NORSAR DOG TEAMS

Dog teams consist of very dedicated NORSAR volunteers, who, with their dogs, spend countless hours training in all weather conditions to prepare their dogs for real search situations. Whether they are training an air scent dog, trailing dog or cadaver dog the dog teams of NORSAR train their dogs in mock searches and work to certifiy their dogs with the SAR council of Oregon so when called upon they are ready.

My name is Becky Irving. I am also OSSA certified in Search and Rescue.
My true passion in search and rescue lies with the canine specialty. I have trained, worked and certified 3 dogs in the areas of Wilderness Airscent and Wilderness and Urban trailing.  With my canine partners and I have participated in over 500 missions. In my personal time I am a full time employed Veterinary Technician and also a single parent of 2 great kids. My non SAR time is spent attending kid school functions and sporting events, showing bloodhounds and doing my best as the President of the Pacific Rim Bloodhound club.
